Natural turf looks its best when it’s installed properly from the ground up. We take care of the full process — thorough soil preparation, levelling, quality underlay, laying the turf correctly, followed by top soiling and fertiliser to help it establish well. We choose turf varieties that suit your specific needs, whether that’s full sun, shade, high traffic or something in between.
Some installers simply lay turf over existing soil without proper preparation, which can lead to uneven growth and patchy results. We do it properly so it establishes evenly and lasts. For larger areas, we also work with a trusted contractor who completes hydroseeding on behalf of Willow Landscaping, ensuring a consistent finish across bigger spaces.
Synthetic Turf
Synthetic turf is a practical and long-lasting solution for high-use areas, heavily shaded spaces and properties where low maintenance is important. It’s also one of Tim’s specialties. He trained alongside one of Australia’s leading synthetic turf companies, working closely with them for two years to properly refine the installation process and understand the technical detail behind a quality result.
Synthetic turf installation isn’t simply a matter of laying grass. The ground is carefully prepared and levelled to create a stable base, the turf is precisely installed to limit seam visibility and reduce long-term wear, then sanded and professionally broomed to ensure an even, natural finish. We use premium triple-backed turf from one of Australia’s leading suppliers, providing durability, structure and a realistic appearance that holds its shape over time.
Modern synthetic turf has improved significantly in both texture and colour, allowing us to source more natural-looking varieties. It’s pet-friendly, extremely low maintenance and well suited to busy households. We’ve also completed multiple play areas for daycares, where durability, safety and consistency are essential.
